The purpose of personal data protection is the safeguarding of a person’s private life and other human right and fundamental freedoms. Data protection is applied during all stages of the collection, processing, and use of personal data.

Since Germany is in the EU, it abides by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that came into force on 25th May 2018. Germany has both a federal data protection authority as well as 16 state data protection authorities, all of which are being maintained under the GDPR. The federal regulator for data protection remains the BfDI in Bonn, Germany.

With this being said, individuals have the power to decide when and to what extent personal information is published.

 

In compliance with these rules, the following outlines how I (Angèle Cristina) collect, use, communicate and make use of any personal data:

 

During sessions, clients are aware that their information is safely kept in a document only accessible to them and me which is also password protected. In this way, I am ensuring that their information and data are GDPR compliant.

When it comes to collecting emails, I make sure there is a box to tick on the website in this regard for this exchange to happen. Clients are in this way giving their consent for use of their email address.

If the session is being recorded, this again will only be available to us the client, and me, and also accessed only under a password, from my end.

All data exchange is only kept for as long as is necessary, so if either of the parties deems the information should be erased, it is.

No information will be sold, rented, leased, or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties, government agencies, or any separate company at any time unless required for legal purposes.

I reserve the right to amend this policy as the situation demands with or without prior notice but I aim to adhere to protecting and maintaining the clients’ data in line with the safeguarding principles outlined above.
